GRAND PRIX STYLE EVENTS
Our competitive Grand Prix style events give you the opportunity to stand out from the crowd in an individual race format. Race through a series of qualifying heats, overtaking all of your rivals on the way. The higher you finish in each of the heats, the more points you get towards making the Grand Final event and becoming the Champion of the days racing!
At the end of the race there is a podium ceremony with personalised trophies for the top three drivers, and a bottle of bubbly for the winner, so you can gloat to all of your mates!
With all our Grand Prix style events, all drivers have a set minimum number of heats and laps on each of our Grand Prix events**, so don't worry if your not very good!
Prices are charged per person for all Grand Prix's and we have a variety of event options to suit your requirements for longer or shorter grand prix events depending on your budget.
All drivers are provided with a full NKA safety briefing and safety equipment for all events, with personal lap time report, which tells you how well you've driven during your event!
Please note all drivers must be aged 16 or over. All drivers are required to sign a declaration form stating this.
** some events will also have semi finals depending on your event type
We can offer trophy upgrades for all events except for Team Endurance Events**
We currently have two options available for our trophy upgrade, and they feature the popular Kart and Driver with resin base.
Large Kart and Driver Trophies - £20 per set (1st, 2nd and 3rd)
Small Kart and Driver Trophies - £15 per set (1st, 2nd and 3rd)
This upgrade can be made in advance or on the day of your event. Please contact our sales team for further details.
As with the standard trophies provided, these upgrades can also be personalised with your Companies or Groups name on them.

How to book an Event with us?
To book an event with us, you can phone or email us and we can provisionally book a slot in the diary for you. We can then hold your provisional slot for 7 days, after that period we will require a deposit to secure the event.
The deposit amount required would be £10 per Driver

Booking Conditions.
- Deposit:
- £10.00 per person for Grand Prix style and small group events
- £40.00 per team for Endurance events
- £5.00 per person for Junior events
- Deposits are non-refundable
- The balance must be paid in full prior to the start of the race meeting.
- All drivers must be aged 16 years or over to race in Grand Prix/Endurance events,
over 8 years for Children's Birthday Parties/Arrive and Drive and over 10 years for Junior Race School.***
- Drivers must be over 4'4" in height (1.32m).
- 10 drivers is the minimum for a Grand Prix event. (Events can be run with less than 10 drivers but payment for 10 drivers must be made.)
- 4 Teams is the minimum number required for Endurance events.
- No alcohol to be consumed by any driver before or during the event.
- The management of Mr Karting reserve the right to remove drivers from the track area at its sole discretion.
- All drivers will be required to sign a declaration agreeing to participate at their own risk.
- All drivers are required to arrive 30 minutes before their agreed event start time.
*** Drivers as young as 8 years old can take part in Race School, if they have taken part in at least two Arrive and Drive practice sessions at our track, and comfortable with the kart and surroundings.

Event FAQ's
Do you provide trophies and bubbly?
For every race event listed above, the top three drivers receive a trophy and a bottle of bubbly for the winner. We can also offer an upgrade package to larger trophies.
Do you run events in the evening/what time do you close?
Yes. We can run events 7 days a week daytime or evening, to suit you requirements
When should I arrive at the circuit?
You will be given an arrival time when booking, this is usually 30minutes before your event is due to start.
Please ensure you are not late as if you arrive after your arrival time, this may affect your time on the circuit.
How old do I have to be to take part in a race event?
You have to be 16 years old and a minimum height of 4'4" tall, for all race events & exclusive events listed above.
A driver is nearly 16 years old - can they race?
NO were afraid not, for insurance reasons each driver must be 16 or over for all race events.
Am I going to fit in your kart's, I'm 20 stone / I'm 6'7" ?
We've had lots of drivers who have been that weight/height but we can't guarantee it as everyone is a different shape
If you are unsure, we recommend that you come down prior to booking and you can try our kart's for size
